Our Story
The Clean Clique is an eco-friendly cleaning company owned and operated by Shannon Veals. Started in 2006, we have been growing and becoming a part of homes across Toronto while providing an environmentally friendly service that uses only the best eco-friendly products. We use the TTC and bikes to get around Toronto in all weather, that’s how strong our commitment to the environment is! Our services span a wide range, from basic house cleaning services to more detailed tasks such as fridge and oven cleaning to collecting dead batteries and burnt out lightbulbs for proper disposal. We’re making the world cleaner and greener – one home at a time!

You may be wondering what’s so special about this cleaning company? Why become a part of the clique? The clique is unique because of what you – the client – mean to me. Each person, each home, each pet I meet is special to me. The families I clean for have all become people I consider friends. They support me in my athletic and artistic endeavors and I support them in whatever ways I can. Although not the original purpose of starting a cleaning company, it has become inspiring and pushes me to new levels.The crew are also very special to me-I am close with each of my employees and strive to achieve a happy, healthy and meaningful workplace for all them.

The Clean Clique has been a part of my life for so long now, it’s hard to know what to say…
14 years ago when I started The Clean Clique I was a starving student..looking for a new path that fit my busy lifestyle, kept me active and made me proud…out of that desire blossomed The Clean Clique.
Now I am a Mom, and an entrepreneur and not too long ago was once again a student. I want to help busy homes live greener (and of course cleaner) lives. I enjoy meeting the clients and nurturing healthy relationships with my staff, all while getting to know our great city on my bicycle.

I am a single mom, my son and Marnie’s are actually bffs-sooo cute! I am a very crafty person and have been known to create and share a variety of crafts including bees wax food wraps, and lip balm. I’ve been a member of the Parkdale community for many years, having worked for over 15 years at Designer Fabrics before having my son. I enjoy cleaning and helping people get their homes spic and span. The Clean Clique gives me the chance to work steady hours while allowing me to be home after school and in the evenings with my son. I also love being part of a small business that’s in my community as well.

Hey everyone, my name is Matthew and my favourite part of cleaning is the satisfaction after doing a job well done. Not only that, but I always admire how people decorate their homes, which always inspires me to change my room once in a while. I love pushing myself when it comes to challenging situations and I am always ready to try something new. I am currently in my second year at Ryerson University for Environmental and Urban Sustainability, and my goal for my education is to inspire more environmentally-conscious changes with my experience at the Clean Clique.

Hi, I’m Nga. I enjoy creating art (painting and charcoal portraits), reading and developing my green thumb (garden veggies for the 2nd year in a row). I enjoy working for The Clean Clique because of the flexibility in hours. My part-time hours allow me to be available to my teen daughter. I love working here because of Shannon’s generous and friendly practices (i.e. very accommodating to my specific job needs, staff social gatherings (pre-Covid), staff benefits, etc).

Hey there, my name is Julien. What I love the most about cleaning is the satisfaction after leaving a client’s property knowing the place is sparkling clean. I’m currently studying Architecture at Centennial college. A few of my hobbies would include soccer, cooking, drawing.

Hi, I’m Jakob! I am an Australian living in Canada and personally, I’ve loved being able to meet loads of new interesting people, and see their happy faces when they return to a nice and clean home.
I had planned to come to Canada before covid with my partner, but unfortunately, we were separated by border closures. With new restrictions on my visa, it took 13 months before I got in contact with Shannon, who offered me the job I needed to be able to see my partner again. I’m extremely grateful that Shannon gave me this opportunity and I try my best to reflect that in my work!
